Golf Galaxy plans to open four new stores in March

Golfwear maker Golf Galaxy Inc plans to open four new stores in March, the first full month of its 2007 fiscal year.
The new stores, which are among a total of 11 the specialty retailer plans to open this spring, include one store each in Pittsburgh; Paramus, NJ; Skokie, Ill.; and The Woodlands, Texas.
The Skokie store marks Golf Galaxy's seventh greater Chicagoland store; and The Woodlands store marks the retailer's fourth Houston-area store.
Randy Zanatta, President and CEO of Golf Galaxy, said, "The four stores opening in March are the first of 14 to 16 new stores Golf Galaxy plans to open this fiscal year."
"We look forward to opening our first stores in Pittsburgh and the New York City suburb of Paramus and to continuing our expansion into Chicago and Houston," Randy said.
The four new Golf Galaxy stores opening in March will be located at 1106 Park Manor Blvd. in Pittsburgh, 160 N. State Route 17 in Paramus, 4831 Golf Road in Skokie, and 1310 The Woodlands Dr. in The Woodlands.
Golf Galaxy Inc, based in Eden Prairie, Minn., owns and operates golf specialty retail stores. It operates 50 stores in 23 states and an ecommerce website.
