Messe Frankfurt launches mobile Apps for Texprocess

The ‘Texprocess Navigator’, the smartphone app for the leading international trade fair for processing textile and flexible materials, is now available free of charge from the Apple App Store and Google Play. The new features of the app include the integration of Techtextil, which runs concurrently with Texprocess from 11 to 13 June, on the start screen, so users can switch quickly and easily from one app to the other.

Moreover, Texprocess visitors will find an overview of both fairs in the Texprocess app for the first time. But that’s not all. The ‘Texprocess Navigator’ also includes an exhibitor and product search engine, an interactive hall plan, topical news from the twitter channel and the press, as well as a buddy finder. The range of online services has also been significantly expanded for Texprocess 2013. The ‘Top Topics’ section on the official event website at www.texprocess.com spotlights current trends in the fields of IT, sourcing and process technologies for technical textiles.

There, visitors will find compact information about the ‘IT@Texprocess’ and ‘Source it’ sections of the fair and about the synergies with Techtextil.

Real-time information via social-media channels: visitors who follow Texprocess on Twitter receive up-to-the-minute news about the sector and interesting information about the fair. On Facebook, Messe Frankfurt invites fans to participate, discuss and to share new products and interesting links. The Texprocess YouTube channel provides impressions of the last event and shows the programme of the coming Texprocess.

Texprocess admission tickets are also valid for the concurrent Techtextil and entitle the holder to use local public-transport services operated by the RMV public-transport authority free of charge throughout the region. All smartphone users can have their admission ticket sent to their devices. Wireless internet access is available throughout the Exhibition Centre via W-LAN. Messe Frankfurt is the first German fair and exhibition company to offer exhibitors and visitors free WLAN from anywhere in the Exhibition Centre.

Texprocess is the leading international trade fair for processing textile and flexible materials. Around 300 manufacturers present their cutting-edge technologies. It is held concurrently with Techtextil, International Trade Fair for Technical Textiles and Nonwovens.
