Banswara weaves JV with French CMT Group

In a stretagic move to strengthen its global presence, Banswara Syntax Ltd (BSL) is to form joint venture with France's Carreman Michel Thierry Group(CMTG), for a weaving manufacturing unit at Banswara (Rajasthan).
JV with the French company would help BSL in getting a hold of world market, R L Toshniwal, Chairman & Managing Director, BSL, informed media.
Company also shifted focus on manufacturing value added products and specialised products.
Thsi apart, company is increasing its capacity to 12,000 spindles in the blended and cotton yarn, Toshniwal added.
The company will also invest Rs80 crore in the next FY, a part of which will be used for installing 18 MW coal-based power plant.
