The total demand for market size is estimated at five crore metres per annum.

Sangam (India) has posted a 62.65 percent rise in net profit at Rs 6.75 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2005 as compared to Rs 4.15 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year.

Net sales rose 6.23 percent to Rs 82.65 crore compared to Rs 77.80 crore during the same quarter previous year.

The company has improved its operating profit margin to 16.28 percent due to reduction in raw material cost and higher realisations.
