Reid & Taylor is to emerge as pure apparel brand

Reid & Taylor brand under the aegis of S Kumars Nationwide (SKNL), has decided to position itself as complete apparel brand in the next few months.

The company is already dealing in fabrics and limited off the rack clothings for men.

Govind Mirchandani, President & CEO of worsted suitings, said the brand's complete range of clothing will incorporate shirts, trousers, blazers, suits and accessories.

Now other brands like Louis Philippe, Van Heusen, Arrow and Zodiac are natural competitors of Reid & Taylor, which is to cater to upper class customers between the age group of 25 and 45, Mirchandani said.

The S Kumar also offers casuals under the Reid & Taylor Leisures tag. The shirts have been priced in the Rs895-2,495 range, trousers at Rs1,295-2,295 and suits at Rs6,695-12,995.
