The polyester absorbs the dye while the cotton just changes colour slightly which creates the herringbone effect and also provides a soft finish to the tape, similar to fabrics with this special weave.

The dyeing techniques can be varied so the product is available in a natural shade - which is suitable for post-dyed garments – as well as in the normal Coats’ colour range. The puller and teeth have a brass finish.
