Celebration at Xerium on landmark Huytexx Forming Fabric order

Leading global manufacturer of clothing and roll covers used primarily in the paper production process, Xerium Technologies Inc recently celebrated the 7,000th order for the patented Huytexx family of forming fabrics.

Huytexx, sold under the Weavexx and Huyck brands, is an advanced triple-layer forming fabric technology and, in 1997, was the first plain-weave top surface forming fabric technology to incorporate the key feature of support shute binding.

Support shute binding is designed to reduce the propensity for interlayer wear while providing enhanced machine performance and improved paper properties.

Huytexx, and the finer Synergie version, are now produced at Xerium facilities on four continents and are utilized by paper producers throughout the world on several paper grades.
