WACKER's SILRES BS silicone resins are highly branched 3-D framework polymers, which are used as impregnants for masonry and as binders for wall paints and render systems. The special status enjoyed by the SILRES BS product range of gypsum water repellents is due to the formation of a silicone resin network in the gypsum matrix, thus conferring excellent long-term stability on the construction material.
