Vardhman to spread out in MP & HP

Annual turnover of Vardhman Group is Rs2200 crores and it is confident of realizing a total turnover of Rs3500 crores per annum once the ongoing expansion projects in Madhya Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh are completed.
In Himachal Pardesh, the company is investing Rs500 crores for installing 50,000 spindles and it will start production within this fiscal year.
Company will be investing about Rs1500 crores in Madhya Pardesh for installing two lacs spindles and setting up a 50 mw captive power generation plant and it would be ready for production by March 2008.
It would accomplish its total spindle capacity to 7.5 lacs from five lacs at hand.
Fabric production capacity would jump by 50 million meters to 90 million meters.
Production capacity of yarn would rise three times to the present capacity of 125 tones per day and the total fabric looms would double to 800 looms from its existing capacity.
