The Evolution of a Design Vision
Robin Bruce introduced its Hollywood Glam collection at the International Home Furnishings Market in October 2004 and ushered the return to elegant simplicity with classic silhouettes and luxurious fabrics. Inspired by the designs of the 1940's, the Christophe accent chair in white, cut-velvet with black patent leather trim, the Apollo ottoman/bench in black patent leather and the curvaceous Gabriel sofa in plush, teal velvet quickly became signature pieces.
In October 2005, the design origins of the Hollywood Glam period were examined with a focus on the dramatic and modern. An Art Deco, 1930s influence was seen in the Ava sofa and Lloyd and Gideon accent chairs with their simplified silhouettes and stylized geometric and floral patterns.
Robin Bruce furniture and fabrics are available at select major home furnishings retailers and better independent home décor retailers across the U.S. and Canada.
