Gamma completes sale of Ames Europe, knitted fabrics maker

Gamma Holding has completed the sale of its subsidiary Ames Europe. The company, part of Discontinued Operations, has been sold to a Dutch private investor with interests that include a printing works and a logistics services company.
Ames Europe has a total of 117 employees. No statements can be made about the sum involved.
Turnover at Ames Europe amounts to approximately EUR 18 million. The company makes industrial knitted fabrics and has facilities in Enschede (The Netherlands) and Rémiremont (France).
Gamma Holding will present its annual figures of 2006 before market on 23 February 2007.
Ames Europe produces knitted fabrics of traditional yarns such as cotton, polyester/cotton, polyester and Poly-amides as well as specialities based on high-quality, special synthetic fibres and blends.
