Vishal plans to open 15 outlets across the country

Vishal Retails Ltd, a chain of Vishal Megamart retail outlets, is planning for expansion by opening 15 new retail outlets in the western part of India like Hubli, Kochi, Pune, Solapur, Nagpur, Kolhapur, Surat and Ahmedabad with an investment of Rs100-115 crore by March 2007.
By 2008, the company is planning to open its second outlet in Nashik.
The retail outlets of Vishal would sell around 7,000 products of household needs, including garments, food, footware, home furnishing, cosmetics, gifts and lifestyle items.
With these investments the company targets a turnover of Rs650 crore for the fiscal year 2007 as compared to Rs300 during the last financial year of 2005.
