Glimcher's New Lifestyle Center opened at Dayton

Columbus based one of the country's premier retail REITs Glimcher Realty Trust announced it held a ground breaking ceremony yesterday at its Dayton Mall, located in Dayton, Ohio. Dayton Streetscape is a 90,000 square foot lifestyle center with outward facing retail and is included in the Company's $90 million development pipeline of projects.

Dayton Streetscape will feature both high-end restaurant and retail tenants enhancing Dayton Mall's already strong retail mix. In addition P.F. Chang's China Bistro and Jareds Jewelers anticipate opening in time for the 2005 holiday season with the balance of the stores opening in first quarter 2006.

“They are encouraged by the enthusiasm shown by many fine retailers and exciting dining establishments as intent remains two-fold: to maintain the dominant position in the Dayton area and to enhance customers' experience,” said Michael P. Glimcher, President and CEO.
