President He Fengxian meets Syrian Industrial Minister

Mrs. He Fengxian, Vice President of China Hengtian Group Co., President of CTEXIC, had a meeting with Dr. Fouad Al Jouni the visiting Syrian Industrial Minister on the 9th of July in Diaoyutai State Guesthouse.

Mrs. He introduced China Hengtian Group Co. and CTEXIC to the Minister and reviewed the achievements gained by the company during the past 20 years both in undertaking foreign aid textile projects and general contracting projects in Syria. She hoped that the Minutes of the Third Meeting of Sino-Syria Economic and Trade Committee held in June in Syria could be fulfilled in an early time so as to enlarge the bilateral cooperation in Syria.

The Minister said that he knew all the Syrian state-owned textile projects undertaken by CTEXIC were attached to his ministry. He expected that CTEXIC could smoothly complete sub mill 1 of Al Furat Spinning Company in Deir Ezzour, an in-progress modernization project on the basis of confessional loan granted by Chinese government and the subsequent agreement on Jableh Project.

He hoped the 50 people from Jableh coming to China could obtain fruitful training and get China's genuine advanced managerial expertise. The Minister expressed his willingness to assist CTEXIC to find cooperative projects in his ministry and other departments.

Mr. Chen Jing, Vice President of CTEXIC also attended the meeting. The Minister was in the delegation of a formal visit to China from July 8 to 11, led by Syrian Deputy Prime Minister at the invitation of the Chinese government.
