International presence 30 companies from China, Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia, Spain and Japan had be seen at Texworld USA in the Lenzing Innovation Pavilion.
Their collections included knitted and woven fabrics in different price categories for all applications ranging from denim, lingerie to workwear for both men and women.
Lenzing gives top priority to innovation. Competition between the exhibitors in the Lenzing Innovation Pavilion encouraged those taking part to show only creations that are new and innovative.
The visitors to the Lenzing Innovation Pavilion could decide for themselves what fabrics were most innovative. The winner was determined during the trade fair and JK Textile from Korea was presented with the award for the most innovative fabric.
For the second time running, Lenzing organized a symposium during Texworld. This featured specialist talks from external experts as well as experts from Lenzing on trends and themes relevant to the market.
The panel discussion on 19 July on the topic "Green to Mainstream - Integrating sustainable fibers and practices into your products” was one particular highlight.
The discussion was moderated by the journalist, Karla Magruder. The participants were: Dieter Eichinger, Global Marketing Director, Lenzing Fibers; Mark Messura, Executive VP, Cotton Incorporated, Coral Rose, President, Eco-Innovationsand Robert Flug, President, SL Danielle, a division of Chaus Inc.
Interest in the Lenzing Innovation talks was exceptionally high. More than 500 interested parties registered for the talks.
