RIL finds oil in Krishna basin

Country's largest petrochemicals maker Reliance Industries Ltd has reportedly struck black gold with the discovery of an oil base in the Krishna basin near Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh.
Sources revealed that the find is estimated at around 20 meters of thickness, making it possibly one of the largest oil discoveries on India's east coast.
Officials are expected to evaluate the discovery after checking the flow of the oil. The oil discovery in block D4 is being celebrated and hailed as a lucky find at RIL's Navi Mumbai headquarters.
