After two successful years accompanying Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics, Yarn Expo Autumn will be launched this year as an independent speciality show with a new venue. Yarn Expo, to be held 29 – 31 October 2007 in Shanghai, will create an important niche trade platform in eastern China for yarns and fibres.
Show dates: 29 — 31 October 2007 (Monday — Wednesday) Opening hours: 9.00am — 4.30pm Venue: Shanghai International Convention Centre 2727 Riverside Avenue Pudong Shanghai 200120, China
Yarn Expo has grown exponentially since its start in 2005 while accompanying Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics, one of the leading apparel fabrics trade events in China. Yarn Expo has now become successful enough to form its own unique trade event. Moving to a new location will help to establish the show's identity as a distinctive speciality trade event and allows it room to expand.
The new show will take place in Shanghai International Convention Centre with a free shuttle bus connecting it to the Shanghai New International Expo Centre where Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics will be held from 29 October to 1 November 2007.
Exhibitors from eight countries and regions have so far signed up to join the show. As the largest textile and apparel producer in the world, China has heavy demands for yarns and fibres, creating a ripe opportunity for international suppliers in these industries. Yarn and Fibre suppliers will attend from China, France, India, Korea, Pakistan, Singapore, Turkey and the USA.
