Rieter Textile Systems bestowed the Rieter Award 2007 on Ms. Yang Xu, China, Ms. Nermine Fadel, Egypt, Mr. Venkateswaran Selvarajan, India, Ms. Sumeet Khanna, India, Ms. Devi Meenakshi, India, Ms. Demet Yilmaz, Turkey and Ms. Dao Thuy, Vietnam. The winners enjoyed some days in Switzerland and Germany to visit the countryside, Rieter and the ITMA 2007.
The Rieter Award has been bestowed every year since 1989 on students or young professionals who distinguished themselves during their studies. 2007 the winners came form China, Egypt, India, Turkey and Vietnam.
The comprehensive program offered not only to get to know the Rieter management and Rieter's products and their manufacturing in Switzerland and Germany, but also to see the sights of Lucerne and Munich and to discover innovation at ITMA 2007 in Munich.
