Traditional botanical theme in KnollTextiles Collection

KnollTextiles, renowned for harmonizing color, pattern and texture for corporate, hospitality, healthcare, educational and residential interiors, has introduced the November 2007 Collection for KnollTextiles, featuring Crypton Green upholstery fabrics as well as new wallcovering and privacy curtain fabrics.
Fable, Legend and Lore comprise KnollTextiles' first Crypton Green collection of upholstery fabrics. These fabrics combine different scales and textures that are coordinated together through color. Designed by Dorothy Cosonas, Legend is a modern take on the classic plaid, which uses a textured ground to add visual interest and depth.
Fable, also designed by Cosonas, is based on the work of French abstract painter Sonia Delaunay. Lore rounds out the Collection: evocative of a natural grasscloth, it is produced using the same space-dyed yarn incorporated into Fable. All three upholstery fabrics are composed of 64% or more post-consumer recycled polyester.
Crypton Green combines post-consumer recycled polyester fibers with an optimized chemistry for reduced environmental impact and human safety. The re-engineered fabric system is Cradle-to-Cradle Silver certified and SCS Gold Indoor Advantage certified. Additionally, Crypton Green can help companies, healthcare organizations and educational institutions achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) workplace certification.
Crypton Green supports renewable energy: in orderto offset energy consumption, Green-e certified energy certificates are purchased to fund the expansion of renewable energy sources.
