Jörg Hellwig joins Trevira - polyester fibers maker

Textile polyester fibers maker Trevira announced change at the top will take place at Trevira, effective September 1, 2005.
Jörg Hellwig will take over the function as CEO of Trevira GmbH and the Trevira Group, succeeding Bernd Sassenrath. Mr Sassenrath will remain Managing Director on a special assignment, to accelerate the integration of R&D activities of Trevira and Reliance, until he retires on 31st December 2005.
Subodh Sapra, Chairman of Trevira's Supervisory Board: "The Supervisory Board of Trevira would like to thank Mr Sassenrath for his tremendous contributions to Trevira and is grateful that his vast experience and skills can now be used for both Trevira and Reliance."
Europe's leading high-tech polyester fibres producers Trevira, a company of Reliance Group, India, is a manufacturer of branded textile polyester fibres and filament yarns. Production operations are located in Belgium, Denmark and Germany. In 2004, Trevira had 1,900 employees and sales of around 318 million Euro.
