The ambassador agreed to accelerate steps regarding the signing of a trade deal at the meeting, an official release said.
The two sides had earlier formed a trade negotiation committee, which has held three meetings. The fourth is expected to take place next month in Indonesia.
There is a possibility of a final outcome at the next meeting, Munshi was quoted as saying by Bangladeshi media reports.
Munshi urged businesses from both sides to explore opportunities and identify potential sectors for trade and investment.
He requested Indonesia to grant more access to Bangladesh's apparel, pharmaceutical and leather goods to the former’s market for a balanced two-way trade and ease the visa process for Bangladeshi nationals.
Ambassador Subolo agreed to take steps regarding the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the apex trade chambers of both sides.
