Recently, China Foreign Trade Center and AIU Insurance Company met for discussing the risk avoidance factor for import and export of enterprises based in Guangzhou city.
Here, the talks revolved around the risk involved in exports of Chinese products to the EU and US markets. Experts proposed few suggestions for avoiding risk while exporting. Firstly, the exporter can ask the suppliers or the agents to provide insurance certificate of the products; secondly, sign the liability insurance for the export products; thirdly, the traders must avoid going against law prevailing in that country, where the shipments are supposed to reach.
Another most important advice was if something happens, enterprises must contact the counterpart and negotiate about the compensation and other aspects, so that the loss incurred can be reduced.
