Statistics reveal that export of bedding has gone up stably in the first eight months of this year. The country shipped 697 million pieces with average price at US $2.23 each piece, showing growth of 16.22 and 6.19 percent, respectively compared to same period last year. These products valued at $1.555 billion, a rise of 23.54 percent.
The main export areas for bedding were America, Japan, EU countries and Russia with value accounting for 62.57 percent of the overall export value.
Of the total, around 203 million pieces of bedding were shipped to America, up 27.9 percent against same period of last year. These were valued at $479 million, a rise of 22.72 percent. The average price was fixed at $2.36 per piece, representing a drop of 4.07 percent.
