Planalytics to advise stores chain Big M on seasonal trends

Weather solutions provider Planalytics announced that Big M Inc has chosen to license the Planalytics InsightSM application.

Big M operates about 200 Annie Sez off-price women's apparel shops, Afaze accessory shops, and Mandee shops targeting young women and teens. Its stores are located in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.

With all of their stores in the Northeast, seasonal changes affect Big M all year round and unanticipated weather can have a dramatic effect on their bottom line. Having information about the length of the upcoming season, when it will start or end compared to last year and how strongly the weather is going to impact their consumers allows Big M to have what the customer wants in the store when she comes to buy it.
