Nylon chip market declined further in July, due to raw material price of CPL weakened and downstream market softened. The price of homemade high-speed spinning chip was offered at 24,300 yuan per ton, but actual trade price was only at 23800-24100 yuan per ton, down 300 yuan per ton from the previous period, or 1.23 percent.
The mainstream price of conventional spinning chips marked at 23800-24300 yuan per ton, but actual trade price was at 23600-24200 yuan per ton. Manufacturers reduced shipments due to markets slump, inventory increased slightly, but operating rate did not change significantly.
Future market of nylon slice is expected to undergo small fluctuations, although CPL is likely to rebound slightly, nylon slice market is possibly to get down further due to sluggish demand from downstream market.
