PTA price was in correction, ME price looked upward on October 22, Monday. Semi-dull and bright polyester chips and CDP slices moved sideways.
PET bottle slice was stable. PSF price little changed. Acrylic staple fiber 1.5 D × 38mm, and acrylic top 3 D × 102mm lowered. CPL, nylon 6 slices were flat.
VSF price was steady in consolidation. Polyester filament market little changed, but conventional filament varieties faced sales pressure, spinning manufacturers felt inventory pressures. Therefore, polyester prices will still stay in a weak adjustment in short term.
All cotton yarn prices showed a consolidation trend of parity in supply and demand. Cotton yarn J32s (air-jet) had better demand, with current price at 23000 yuan per ton. Market of cotton / polyester yarn and viscose yarn were in steady consolidation.
Rayon yarn market unchanged. 10s and 20s were still salable, with current price at 24000 yuan and 25000 yuan per ton, respectively.
Pure polyester yarn 45s witnessed enlarged trade volume, with its price stabilized at 16,300 yuan per ton. The future market is expected to mainly undergo a consolidation.
