CGS, a global provider of business applications, enterprise learning and outsourcing services, has expanded its product portfolio with addition of more than 30 new global manufacturing and merchandising consumer brands. As the US celebrates Manufacturing Day on October 5, the CGS team of experts is supporting brands that are sold throughout the world.

CGS’s BlueCherry Enterprise Suite provides clients with a powerful, comprehensive set of tools to drive their fundamental business processes. It focuses on the needs of high-growth organisations operating in the consumer lifestyle products, retail and apparel industries. The BlueCherry Enterprise Suite’s built-in capacity addresses the needs of all core management, planning, product development, manufacturing, logistics, finance and sales functions.

In just nine months, CGS added new brands, completed multiple implementations and expanded solutions for existing customers. Thousands of end users globally joined CGS’s fashion, apparel, footwear and consumer lifestyle products community.

Recognised among top apparel and footwear organisations for excellent support, a robust user community, and a fully integrated end-to-end solution, BlueCherry provides its customers seamless supply chain operations, including design, sourcing, planning, manufacturing and logistics, CGS said in a press release.

"Today’s rapidly changing marketplace is prompting manufacturers to find ways to enhance their digital supply chain," said Phil Friedman, president and CEO, CGS. "CGS is proud to be a provider for the consumer goods market, partnering with our customers to meet the ever-changing consumer preferences. Many of our customers added to their existing BlueCherry solutions this year and we look forward to helping them drive success across their supply chain in 2019."

All of the new BlueCherry customers chose managed cloud environment for their applications delivery, the release added.

"From smart devices on the shop floor and PLM to e-commerce integration and warehouse management, today’s brands require real-time enterprise-wide visibility to their digital supply chain to ensure speed to market and accurate delivery of goods to the market," said Paul Magel, president, Business Applications and Technology Outsourcing division, CGS. "With next-gen BlueCherry solutions, manufacturers and retailers can improve strategic decision making to become more agile, streamlining the delivery of products from concept to consumer through all sales channels."
