CGS, a provider of business applications, enterprise learning, and outsourcing services, will be showing its BlueCherry Shop Floor Control and smart factory solutions at the Textile Technology show. The leading trade show for suppliers of equipment, technology, and innovation for the textile industry will be held from September 12 to 15, 2018, in Bucharest.

Powered by IoT technology, BlueCherry Shop Floor Control is a real-time monitoring application that automates the collection and reporting of production activities with smart devices on the factory floor. It allows managers to be proactive and adjust to production changes and issues as they arise; it also provides real-time analytics into overall efficiency and productivity, the company said.

In addition, once a bundle is scanned, it streamlines the updates needed by automatically adjusting settings on sewing machines, such as the feed mechanism, based on the material to be sewn, providing time savings and better seam quality. CGS helps manufacturers to be more productive and efficient. Seamless mobile and web integrations allow companies to track and analyse data from users and sewing machines throughout the end-to-end production process. (GK)
