Infor, a leading provider of beautiful business applications specialised by industry and built for the cloud, has recently announced that Dixcy Textiles Pvt Ltd, one of the leaders in the branded hosiery segment in India, has chosen Infor solutions – Infor M3, XI and d/EPM – to enhance core business processes and user experience for employees.

With over 3,000 employees, Dixcy Textiles has the capacity to produce up to 625,000 pieces of garments a day which get sold through 120,000 stores. Dixcy has witnessed excellent business growth over the last few years and was looking for an end-to-end software platform to achieve better process control and improve efficiencies. The company evaluated various solutions available in the marketplace – including the ones that are being used by Dixcy’s competitors. The intention was to find a solution that is purpose-built and yet modern for use by millennials, considerations that prompted Dixcy to select Infor as the solution partner. The textile major leveraged Infor M3 along with Infor XI and d/EPM – purposefully-designed to provide better solution capability, heighten asset visibility, reduce procedural complexities, and instil more confidence in client relationships and business understanding.

Infor M3 is a comprehensive, centralised ERP, built for medium to large national and international manufacturers and distributors. The solution offers ultimate flexibility in operations, technology, and scale. As a multi-site, multi-country, and multi-company solution, M3 empowers organisations to adapt to changing business needs. It provides flexibility in managing mixed-mode and complex environments, with the ability to make quick adjustments at any time. Written in Java, M3 gives clients platform independence and choice.

Ashish Dass, vice president and managing director, South Asian subcontinent, Infor said, “Dixcy will stand out as a strong industry-oriented example of how strategic technology can facilitate a seamless transition from legacy-based process to automated operational methods. By selecting Infor, Dixcy will lay the foundation for feature-rich technologies that will create value-driven growth within the organisation. We are happy to support this innerwear major with the digital transformation of the enterprise and look forward to a long-term, sustained relationship with them.”

Prem Prakash Sikka, chairman and managing director, Dixcy Textiles Pvt Ltd said, “The fashion industry is one of the most competitive in customer demands and trends. With Infor’s integrated solution, we are empowered to manage the entire process—including sourcing, distribution, manufacturing, and right up to wholesale – more efficiently, while allowing cost control to the company. We are thrilled that we have been enabled to move as quickly as the market does.” (GK)
