Visual 2000 International Inc. announces that LaSalle College will implement Visual PLM.net and Visual ERP software solutions for use in its International School of Fashion, Arts and Design at its Montreal campus. The popular industry-tailored software will be used in the training of fashion design, marketing, technical design, production, and other aspects of the concept-to-consumer fashion lifecycle.

“We are honored to be selected by LaSalle College to support their renowned fashion program”, stated Alain Perez, Visual 2000 Director of Canada Sales. “Because our software solutions are among the most widely used in Canada and around the world, this choice will expand the school's capacity to provide students with valuable, real-world skills that will positively impact the global fashion industry.”

As the largest private bilingual college in Canada, LaSalle College offers programs in Fashion Design and Fashion Marketing that lead to a diploma of college studies (DEC). Attestations of college studies (AEC) courses include Fashion Illustration, Design, Technical Design, Patternmaking, and more.

Visual PLM.net software helps fashion companies manage all product information and images, colors and raw materials, merchandise and line plans, size and technical specifications, sampling and costing, time and action calendars, and other critical pre-production processes. Visual ERP provides a wide range of financial, order, supply chain, production, warehouse and distribution, and other core fashion management capabilities.

According to Perez, “Many of our customers regularly seek to hire individuals with a good basic knowledge of our software. We are certain that, once LaSalle students are trained on Visual 2000 technology, they will quickly achieve higher levels of creativity and productivity for these and other fashion companies.”

Since its debut over fifty years ago, LaSalle College has distinguished itself as one of Canada's largest private post-secondary educational institutions with campuses in Montreal and Vancouver. The College's mandate is to provide its students with the highest quality of teaching so they can respond to market demands and move with global trends. LaSalle College offers a unique selection of pre-university and technical DEC programs, including Fashion Design and Fashion Marketing diplomas, which lead either to accelerated university studies or to highly-valued positions on the job market.

Visual 2000 International Inc. develops and markets End-2-End software solutions for the Apparel, Footwear and Accessories (AFA) industry; including Visual PLM.net product lifecycle management (PLM), Visual ERP enterprise resource planning (ERP), Visual SCM.net supply chain management (SCM), Visual WMS.net warehouse management system (WMS), Visual BI.net business intelligence (BI), Visual EDI.net electronic data interchange (EDI), and Visual SFA.net sales force automation software (SFA) solutions.
