FaceCake provides reality experience to retail consumers

FaceCake Marketing Technologies, Inc. demonstrates its suite of augmented retail Try-On solutions at the ShowStoppers @ CES 2013 event on January 8, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

FaceCake gives shoppers exactly what they have been looking for—their dream dressing room with a way to try on products quickly and easily, all while receiving personalized advice about styles and accessories, either in store, at home, or on the go.

From favorite brick-and-mortar retailers to ecommerce sites to mobile phones, shoppers can now try products on their own image and see what looks best, without the traditional dressing room hassles and having to remove their clothes. With FaceCake's augmented retail environment, including interactive virtual Try-On and instant product recommendations, shopping the way it should be is now a whole new reality.

Swivel by FaceCake, the first 3D virtual dressing room, lets shoppers try on clothing and accessories on their own image, in real time and from any angle. Recently deployed at Bloomingdale's, Swivel also gives interactive personalized advice and the opportunity to socially share favorite looks.

The sneak peek at ShowStoppers includes the new Swivel Close-Up, which provides consumers the opportunity to also try on makeup and jewelry within a two-foot environment, literally mirroring the in-store experience.

Reaching customers where and when they want to shop, other innovative FaceCake products include Swivel Digital Signage, which allows shoppers to try on products before they enter the store, tablet applications including real-time Swivel Close-Up and mobile solutions that engage shoppers from their phone.

Shoppers can save favorites from any platform and build a virtual closet of items they own as well as items on their wish list. As shoppers interact with Swivel, any changes they make are available for mobile Try-On so their dream dressing room is now literally in their pocket.
