Sundeep Malhotra, a veteran in the retail sector, conceptualized and established Homeshop18 as a trustworthy and accessible retail platform for shoppers and brands. He established the home shopping business in India in 2008 when virtual shopping was a rare concept. In 2011, he extended the virtual shopping experience with the launch of www.homeshop18.com.

Earlier to Pepsi he had a 5 years stint with Benetton India as their Head Sales and Marketing for the Indian Sub-continent and a 10 year stint with Bata India Ltd, across various functions from Brand Management to Retail Head.
His unmatched dedication in the Retail industry has earlier also been recognized with prestigious awards like Retail Entrepreneur of the Year at Star Retailer Awards 2012, Industry Leadership Award at Asian Leadership Awards 2011, eRetailer of the Year at Indian eRetail Awards 2012 and 2013, Retail Leadership Award at Asia Retail Congress 2012, and many more coveted awards are endowed to him.
