JDA Software Group, The Supply Chain Company, announced that Mulberry Group plc, the English luxury brand, selected JDA Demand and JDA Fulfillment in the first quarter of 2013 and will deploy the solutions using JDA’s Cloud Services offering.

“We are delighted to be selected as a key partner to an internationally iconic brand such as Mulberry. We are confident in our ability to deliver significant customer and business benefits, similar to that achieved by our existing retail partners that have executed against a similar journey”

Mulberry is a British design company renowned worldwide for its craftsmanship, quality and style. The brand’s backbone is an extensive line of luxury fashion bags for men and women that combine stylish, stand-out design with the finest leathers and detailing. In addition to leather goods, Mulberry’s product range includes women’s wear, accessories and footwear. Mulberry currently has 110 stores worldwide.

JDA’s Demand and Fulfillment solutions are designed to help Mulberry further improve customer service levels, drive operational efficiency and create a more responsive supply chain, delivering a luxury experience. This will be achieved through timely product availability, reduction in manual processes and visibility of global inventory positions, leading to a reduction of inventory levels across their supply chain.

“Supply chains are constantly evolving and changing. As a business we need to ensure that we have a stable platform to deliver our growth plans, ensuring long-term scalability and continued operational excellence, delivering a luxury product, service and experience to our customers.

By selecting JDA to facilitate our supply chain, we will be well positioned to provide this service and deliver ongoing efficiencies and improvements,” said Tom Powell, head of the supply chain management project, Mulberry. “This is just the start of a long relationship between our two companies, and we are convinced that JDA’s best-of-breed footprint provides a platform for future growth. JDA’s expertise at delivering solutions via the cloud will facilitate a more flexible approach, allowing the project to start more quickly and meet the aggressive timelines required by our business.”

“We are delighted to be selected as a key partner to an internationally iconic brand such as Mulberry. We are confident in our ability to deliver significant customer and business benefits, similar to that achieved by our existing retail partners that have executed against a similar journey,” said Mark Morgan, regional vice president, EMEA, JDA Software. “Mulberry’s decision to deploy on the JDA cloud should see the projects up and running more quickly with reduced risk and lower cost.”
