With over 25 years of fashion and retail business and technology experience, Robinson will leverage his proven track record to help Simparel clients optimize competitiveness and profitability.
“We are pleased to welcome John to the Simparel team,” said Steve G. Vogel, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. While Simparel has been one of the fastest growing technology providers to the industry; we see tremendous opportunity as fashion companies accelerate their adoption of technology to meet increasing industry mandates and enable more efficient market expansion. We know that our clients will benefit from the expertise and best practices that John brings to his new role.”
Robinson previously served as Vice President of Apparel for Lectra (CAD/CAM/PLM), President of Visuality (B2B e-commerce), Vice President of Business Development at WGSN (trend forecasting), and Principal at POP-Market (B2B e-commerce).
“I am pleased with the opportunity to join Simparel and to help take the Company to the next level”, added Robinson. “I was immediately impressed with the close alignment of the Simparel solutions to the needs of the industry. I am proud to be a part of this professional and dedicated team. I look forward to helping many new and existing clients gain the operational speed, visibility and efficiency they need to grow and prosper.”
Robinson joins other Simparel senior management team additions over the past year including the recruitment of Greg Tsirulnik as Chief Information Officer and the appointment of Roberto Mangual as Chief Operating Officer. These three key executives bring common vision and synergy to Simparel based on their extensive fashion experience and deep domain expertise.
Designed specifically for the apparel, footwear, accessories, home furnishings and other softgoods industries, Simparel empowers retailers, brands and manufacturers to reach their full potential by accelerating and improving performance across the entire business and global supply chain.
