The stretching unit draws fabric selectively in longitudinal and transverse directions over a distance of 45 m.
More gentle than other methods it produces a finished width fabric appearance with an exact weft thread. Skewed weft settings are achieved through the application of only slight longitudinal strains.
The drying treatment in the hotflue allows for more precise temperature control than with the conventional drying methods. The result is a more precise residual moisture content before shrinking.
For denims with elastane fibres, it is possible to stabilise the fabric by heating it in the hotflue and fixing the width on a short stretching section.
More effective shrinking Available for denim applications, the compressive shrinkage units offer lower running costs and increased reliability. They also use less water. New features include edge cooling of the rubber belt for longer service life's, cooling water recycling and the new Twin-Shrink system for improved shrinkage and hand.
