Academia RFID, leaders in University-level courseware development and expert training seminars, recently launched their latest offering in industry-specific courses, RFID Retail.
With real-world experience in process design and comprehensive understanding of Retailers' marketing objectives, the team of professors at Academia RFID developed a much needed RFID course to specifically cater to the retail industry and their applications.
Harold Boeck, academic board member at Academia RFID, stated “with the abundance of questions being asked and the lack of retail/marketing-specific training in RFID technology, there was no other way of properly serving the retail industry than to develop a two day intensive course that addresses their issues and helps them build the business case.”
RFID Retail covers advanced concepts of RFID technology for retailers and marketers, including best RFID practices, reducing out-of-stocks, automating inventory management, improving customer service, presenting specific and proven retail applications through case studies that help participants build their business cases and calculate their return on investment.
The courses are offered over two days at Academia RFID's Center of Excellence in Montreal or on-site at their customer's location. For more information visit the website RFIDacademia.com or meet members of the team in person at the RFID Journal and American Apparel and Footwear Association's RFID in Fashion Event at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City on August 13th and 14th 2008.
