CORESense, the leading on-demand provider of integrated retail and ecommerce solutions, announced that they had added over thirty-five new clients in 2008, driven by accelerated adoption of their all-in-one retail and ecommerce management solutions. CORESense's has been adopted by leading ecommerce, multi-channel and brick-and-mortar retailers as well as wineries and manufacturers looking to sell direct to consumers. Market leaders adopting CORESense in 2008 included Loser Kids, Hockey World, Windsor Vineyards and RocketDog.

The move towards an on-demand all-in-one management solution accelerated in 2008 as retailers are increasingly recognizing the need to sell and service customer seamlessly and effectively across multiple sales channels and to streamline operations through integration of core business processes and data. CORESense's on-demand delivery model provides them with affordable access to fully integrated and feature rich retail and ecommerce management software.

It provides a more cost-effective alternative for retailers to achieve their business objectives than traditional packaged applications. Retailers get pay-for-usage access to an enterprise class solution featuring tight integration of core retail processes which streamlines operations and facilitates automation of time consuming and error-prone processes. They can also centrally processes web, POS and phone orders eliminating manual transfer of data between channels.

The on-demand or Software as a Service (SaaS) value proposition of reducing capital expenses as well as total cost of ownership is also becoming increasingly attractive as economic conditions and fierce competition are forcing many retailers to find new ways to maintain profitability and cash flow.

• SaaS eliminates the expense of IT infrastructure that is required to support on-premise applications.
• Ongoing Costs are aligned with usage.
• Upgrades, maintenance and support are included in the price.

The integration of our ecommerce website and point of sale and the automation inherent in the CORESense solution gives us the ability to do more with less at a time when sales and margins are tightening,” said CORESense customer Tadd Crayton, GM Loserkids.

“We see 2008 as a validation of our mission to leverage an on-demand delivery model to create advantage for retailers by providing them affordable access to a fully integrated retail and ecommerce management solution. Our success is testament to the strength of our solution, the dedication of our team to creating advantage for our clients and a growing realization by retailers that an on-demand,” said Jason Jacobs, CEO of CORESense.
