Sports brand Xtep goes live with DeSL's PLM

China's largest fashion sports brand Xtep (China) holdings has gone live with DeSL's PLM solution within 3 months of commencement.
As a large scale branding business, Xtep has 2 design centers in China, and about 500 people in their design & development teams. The PLM project covers everything from line/collection planning, story boards, design, sourcing, sample development, technical, costing right through to purchasing and even the development warehouse for fabrics, trims and finished styles - the entire life cycle! The project was also a replacement of Xtep's previous PDM system, and designed to deliver deeper collaboration within the whole product life cycle and a unification of Xtep's development processes.
Every process in the product development cycle has been covered by DeSL's PLM in the project and all their key suppliers will use the system to collaborate with Xtep's teams in real time via the web. The integration of the whole supply chain will bring a strong competitive edge for the whole group.
Xtep Vice President, CIO, Dr. Wu Lianyin says “this PLM project is one of the most complicated and business oriented projects at Xtep so far.DeSL and Sunzsoft promised us a complete, fully integrated, web based PLM solution covering all our processes from concept to delivery. This is exactly what has happened! The solution is very configurable and fast to implement. DeSL and Sunzsoft have been very reactive to our complex requirements, even if that meant changing the software to suit our exact needs.We put together a very aggressive project plan to go live within 3 months and DeSL and Sunzsoft have worked with our team to deliver this. This project gives us a great platform to visualize our business and the opportunity to improve our supply chain management.”
