MMC to develop a national retail brand

Milwaukee Motorcycle Clothing has chosen Jacob Tyler Creative Group as their official agency of record. MMC, a subsidiary of Carroll Leather Company, a 40-year-old family-owned business, specializing in sales of leather apparel and furniture, currently grosses over $10 million sales annually through wholesale distribution channels.

Jacob Tyler has been tasked by MMC to develop a national retail brand and robust online presence that will create the company's brand recognition and equity among consumers in retail and mass market. Jacob Tyler will be responsible for all brand strategy and execution of marketing collateral starting with the design of their E-commerce Web site. Phase 1 of the project will include Web 2.0 look and feel, messaging, on-site search engine optimization, and social media strategy. Phase 2 will include both online interactive campaigns as well as offline advertising campaigns.

“There is no question that Harley Davidson has market share in apparel for motorcycle clothing right now in the cruiser category. We understand we are not going to beat Harley in this industry, but we will certainly increase MMC's brand equity and apparel sales. We'll do this by developing the voice and messaging for the brand that creates brand personality and showcases their high-quality products,” said Les Kollegian, Partner and Interactive Creative Director at Jacob Tyler. “The creative team has personally tested products from MMC alongside products from Harley Davidson, and to our surprise, we all agree that the difference in quality is immediately apparent.”

Carroll Leather Company is a 40-year-old family-owned business, specializing in sales of leather apparel and furniture. They have a wide range of sources for raw materials and finished goods, as well as manufacturing capabilities in the United States and abroad. The company's product line has expanded from the original Leather wallets to include almost anything made of Leather.

Founded in 2000, Jacob Tyler Creative Group is a comprehensive, full-service brand communication agency made up of talented and experienced marketing, media, and software development professionals. Jacob Tyler specializes in printed collateral, web design and development, product design, and online marketing. The company is headed by Les Kollegian and Charlie Van Vechten, and has created campaigns for Lamkin Golf Grips, Hubbs-Sea World, Active Network, and Qualcomm.
