Die Spreadshirt GmbH acquires Butik.pl

Online company Die Spreadshirt GmbH expands its international presence. Taking over the Polish and East-European market leader Butik.pl, Spreadshirt is set to develop business in Eastern Europe.

The online merchandising platform www.butik.pl has been the market leader in East European and Poland. As of today, the company is incorporated to the German-based company Spreadshirt at www.spreadshirt.pl.

This integration carries about 10,000 former butik.pl partners that will now be doing their merchandising business on the Polish Spreadshirt platform. This includes a number of well-known shops, including the fanshop of the popular Polish football clubs: Legia Warsaw and KS Cracovia. In addition, the Polish techno band Clubbasse and the most successful cartoon strip "Wilq".

Spreadshirt CEO Lukasz Gadowski states that this acquisition of butik.pl is an important first step in building our presence in the East-European market.

Since 2004, Spreadshirt has been continuously working to expand its international presence. Spreadshirt currently has over 100,000 partner shops worldwide in 12 different languages.
