Information technology (IT) has a key role to play in driving innovation and competitiveness for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Information Technology for SMEs will be much more of a priority in the coming years. It can help reduce costs, enable more efficient development processes and bring products to market more quickly than in the past.
Going forward, SMEs are looking to enhance existing customer relationships, improve business efficiencies, and thereby increase revenues. However, this will come in the form of more enterprise IT solutions such as customer relationship management (CRM), enterprise resource planning (ERP) and server virtualization as cost savings, operational efficiency and IT disaster recovery.
With this Background CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) is organizing a conference on IT for SMEs–Technologies to meet business needs on 9th September 2010: Silver Oak, India Habitat Centre, and New Delhi.
