StandOut Dancewear shimmers brightly with new online store

StandOut Dancewear has recently launched its new website designed by Appnova Web, offering its full range to clients online. Established in 2007, the company is now one of the fastest growing specialist retailer of Modern Jive, Ceroc, WCS, Latin dance shoes and clothing and the brainchild of Balca Miller. The online store sells timeless dance essentials designed for both elegance and maximum comfort. Business has increased since the launch of the new website and Balca Miller expects to triple sales by the end of the year.
Appnova designed the website to reflect the unique style and professionalism of Balca Miller's brand, while also providing an easy way to purchase items and the all important secure payment options.
According to Balca Miller; “I had been selling my range of dancewear for some time and increasingly customers were asking whether they could buy online. I have worked with the Appnova team for over ten years in the retail environment and knew that they could provide me with the system that I needed.
“I wanted to be able to focus on the business and what I know best, not be burdened with technology that was difficult to use. I knew that Appnova could provide the sort of site that would match my style and provide the practical, secure technology to sell online that would be suitable for me to manage myself. The system provides stock control facilities and I am able to add new product information myself, via an easy to use content management system that Appnova developed.”
Since launching the site, Balca Miller has already recorded over 7500 hits. As well as promoting the website at dance events, she uses Facebook groups to promote new ranges to targeted customer groups in the professional dance scene.
Appnova designed the website ensuring that the branding matched the company's unique offering. The custom built e-commerce site has been developed using a mix of Javascript and HTML technology, with the functionality at the back end to support transactions. The site integrates with an approved payment approval gateway, providing extra security for transactions made. Appnova is hosting the site and providing maintenance as well as day to day support for the site.
