New Generation Computing - NGC Software announced that Supply & Demand Chain Executive Magazine has named NGC to its prestigious “100” list that highlights “100 Great Supply Chain Projects.” The award recognizes NGC's leadership in helping its customers achieve supply chain excellence and prepare their supply chains for the post-recessionary return to growth through PLM and other supply chain solutions.
Supply & Demand Chain Executive's “100” list highlights supply chain transformation projects that have had a significant impact on the companies going through the implementations. Supply & Demand Chain Executive collected information on supply chain transformation projects, including information on the objectives, scope, timeline and results of the project. The submissions were evaluated by the magazine's editorial staff primarily based on: ambitiousness/scope of the project; creative application of technologies/solutions/services used; extent of the business results/impact; and clarity of submission.
“NGC's inclusion in this year's '100' list recognizes the company's leadership as a solution and service provider in helping companies achieve supply chain excellence as they rebound from the recent downturn,” said Andrew K. Reese, editorial director of Supply & Demand Chain Executive.
“NGC is honored to be named to this year's Supply and Demand Chain Executive '100' list,” said Mark Burstein, president of sales and marketing, NGC. “This award recognizes NGC's focus on helping our customers deal with today's most urgent supply chain issues – such as managing raw materials commitments, reducing cycle times, and improving product compliance and testing.”
