Technical sportswear brand Odlo adopted Lectra's patternmaking software, Modaris 3D for better product development by reducing the number of physical samples and fittings for new products.

The software solution integrates 3D prototyping solution which also helps in improving communication across the company's different offices by enabling all the employees to work from same image in real time.

The company expects this software solution to save time by streamlining production, and thereby making sure that it never runs out of stock.

“With Modaris 3D, we are clearly more efficient; once the solution has been fully integrated, we will save a great deal of time in prototyping and we also save money,” Ulrike Froitzheim, Team Leader, Quality Management and Projects of Odlo commented.

“We always have to be innovative and unique in the market. We have to arrive first, before the others. Lectra also wants to innovate and be first on the market – this corresponds perfectly with our philosophy,” Julio Paiva, General Manager of Odlo Portugal added.

Odlo had worked with Lectra experts to identify its short and long-term goals; decide on what needed to change and the best way to get everybody up to speed without interrupting its activity; and create a sustainable action plan that would stand the test of time before adopting Modaris 3D. (MCJ)
