WarehouseOS maximises throughput of warehousing facilities

The WarehouseOS, a new tablet-based warehouse operations system software, keeps track of apparel inventory electronically from the moment they are received to the time they are shipped. From small e-commerce to high volume stock keeping unit (SKU) facilities, from omnichannel companies to FMCG, WarehouseOS maximises throughput of warehousing facilities.

Unlike other industries with fixed product inventory, SKU proliferation can be a problem in the constantly changing apparel industry. Consumers have a perpetual appetite for fresh, new clothing designs, and the changing seasons can add to it. Automated inventory management systems, like WarehouseOS, can correct the negative effects of the SKU proliferation by making the management of the warehouse easier, faster, and more accurate, according to a media statement by Warehouse Mobile Solutions.

WarehouseOS and associated apps allow small or large companies to receive products, manage inventory, perform cycle counting, conduct single picks or do batch picking, verify items picked and pack them into boxes. From small startups with simple needs to complex, large distribution centres, WarehouseOS is equipped to handle everything. (PC)
