Yeshiming Reflective Material Co Ltd (known as YSM), based in Jinjiang, China has received prestigious SATRA Quality Mark approval status for two collections of its retro-reflective tapes, suitable for use with high visibility garments.
The first tape to be approved was the Silver retro reflective tape YSM 3255 which was approved to EN 471: 2003 Class 2. Now SATRA has also approved tape YSM 3122 to the same standard.
In order to be awarded the SATRA Quality Mark, Yeshiming undertook extensive testing with SATRA, including an initial evaluation and ongoing production conformity assessments.
The company's manufacturing facilities are also subject to a regular audit to ensure consistent production at the approved level of quality and EN 471 classification.
YSM has been manufacturing a range of reflective and photo-luminescent materials since the early 1990s from its 40,000 square metres factory in Fujian Province. Its production output is some 20,000 square metres of reflective material each day!
The company's YSMLITE-branded retro-reflective materials are used in a wide range of industries and specialised applications including safety apparel and footwear, both for the domestic market and for export destinations such as Europe and the United States.
Its tapes are manufactured in accordance with European safety standard EN 471 and US standard ANSI 107 respectively.
The SATRA Quality Mark is exclusive to SATRA members, and allows manufacturers to use the words 'SATRA approved' on associated documentation and publicity, including at the point of sale.
