The classic non-prescription reading glasses will also come with a sunglass tint aimed at those currently struggling with wearing two sets of glasses, an optical and a sunglass pair, on the beach or in a sunny café to read the menu.

The new ranges will go on sale in October throughout the Sunglass World stores in New Zealand and the Eyegear and Sunglass Direct stores in Australia as well as at Trelise Cooper stores and retailers as well as selected leading optometrists, retailers and department stores.

The Trelise Cooper alliance comes at the time of significant growth for VMD with news the company's Dirty Dog range of high performance sunglasses has been sold to the Hungarian Army for field use. This sale opens up new opportunities for the company which has been in business since 1985.
