Overall yarn sales in Qianqing market, from November 5 - 11, slipped down, while prices were relatively stable.
Dynamic trend showed, on November 11, conventional representative products of pure cotton yarn 32s for knitting, pure polyester yarn 50s, rayon yarn 30s, T/C 65/35 yarn 45s, and T/R 65/35 yarn 40s/2 were quoted at 19,800 yuan per ton, 16900 yuan per ton, 26300 yuan per ton, 18900 yuan per ton, and 22500 yuan per ton, respectively.
In comparison, the central prices of relative products last week were 19800 yuan per ton, 16900 yuan per ton, 26300y yuan per ton, 18900 yuan per ton, and 22500 yuan per ton, almost no change. Overall market performed poorly last week due to the apparent decline of overall sales in yarn market.
Industrial people said pure cotton yarn market presents to be a relatively dull year this year. Looking from the current market, rayon yarn market sales are not likely to be enlarged in short time, due to the decline of operation rate in weaving plants. Rayon yarn market next week is expected to be as usual or even dull.
