Hireni Mankodi

Ms. Hireni Mankodi is a Masters’ degree holder in Textile Engineering & has also studied Financial Management. She has been a Treasurer in the All India Textile Association (Baroda). She was the Chairperson in the International conference on Magical Textile (2202) at Croatia. Currently she is a Sr. Lecturer in Textile Engg. Dept., M.S. University.

Her works have appeared in several magazines & journals. Her article “Smart System Key of Quality Management” was awarded as the Best article by the Textile Association of India.

She has presented papers in several national & international conferences like “Export Trends in Indian Apparel” in the National Seminar on Apparel Industries & “Engineered Garment for Safety” in the 7th Asian Conference.

She has prepared a number of research projects like “Thermal Stabilization of Air Textured PP/Nylon filament blended yarn”, “Production of Different Types of Hybrid Conductive Yarn & Studies of Change in Resistivity” etc.

She is currently pursuing Ph.D. in “Effect of processing parameters on Co-mingling behaviour & properties of hybrid yarns”. Under the grant awarded by AICTE she is researching on “Development of machine used for producing hybrid Yarn for thermoplastic composite”.

Her areas of expertise include Technical Textile Application, Garment Technology, Application of Electronics in Textile Machines, Mill Management & IT Application in Textile.
