Under Armour CEO to deliver keynote address at CES 2017

Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank will deliver the keynote address at CES 2017, which runs from January 5-8, 2017 in Las Vegas and which is organised by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA). He will deliver the keynote on January 6 and will focus on how technology is shaping athletic performance and lifestyle now, and in the years to come.

At CES 2016, Under Armour shared its vision for connected fitness by launching UA HealthBox, a suite of products designed to help athletes gain insight into their health, reach their goals and perform better.

According to the company, it now plans to take that focus a step further based on the input of the over 185 million members of its digital health and fitness community.

Plank has spent the last 20 years outfitting athletes in some of the world's most innovative performance apparel, footwear and equipment and what began as a start-up, is now a global company, which will reach nearly $5 billion in revenues in 2016. (AR)
